Drove a Tesla Roadster yesterday
And wow, whoosh! The acceleration is incredible, feels like a roller coaster. As does driving something that costs ~$155k w/options... I drove the gray one. First all electric i've driven, actually. Or was that the Batmobile? Been on a few rides in a RAV-4 EV & a converted Karmann Ghia, which i think i've written about before, but as i say, first all-electric driving experience. Will this ruin all others? Probably not i suppose, especially since plug-in hybrid is looking much more practical & doable. At least i can talk about it on tours now.

Awesome!!
I saw the first Tesla in Australia (it was imported by a guy in Adelaide!) but I didn't get anywhere close to driving it. I have to admit that the company's name makes me automatically inclined to like them, but they seem to be doing good work.
