The Blob is great!

"Beware of the Blob! It creeps, and leaps, and glides and slides across the floor.

Indescribable... Indestructible! Nothing Can Stop It!

Indescribable... indestructible... insatiable

The indestructible creature! Bloated with the blood of its victims!

It crawls.... It creeps.... It eats you alive!"

Kirsten and i just watched this film with my dad. It was great!

"I don't know!"

"Better get a jumbo jet and drop it in the arctic!"

In the Night Kitchen

Recently i read Maurice Sendak's In the Night Kitchen. You may more easily recognize him as author of Where the Wild Things Are. In the Night Kitchen is a short "children's book", so it's a quick read, and i highly recommend it. It was also a banned book, which is one reason i checked it out from the library to begin with--besides the fact that it just looked awesome. (near banned book week they had a shelf of books that had at some point caused controversy/been banned). AND! The artwork is GREAT!!

thoughts while staring at a computer screen

it has been a long time since i have done anything really creative, particularly in my musical endeavors.

do i still have creative juices in me?

am i a musician?

am i any good?

will i learn other people's music? this certainly brings me great satisfaction on many levels to be sure, but also seems wanting without proper, positive creativity as a foundation and launching point.

is music just something that people do for fun?
and are the pros still having fun?

will i play again?

will God be glorified?
