My second phone. On AT&T Wireless to start and then devoured by Cingular, which still somehow has no idea what they're doing and doesn't care about how many people got screwed by being 'transferred' from AT&T. Another Nokia. This one got stolen or lost (i think i left it in front of my house). 'Twas a shame because i had some cool old pics on it which i'll never get back. :(

Sort of the same deal as the last phone. Crappy ATT/Cingular/something/no service (no reception in my house including my own room and a crazy pirate signal which hijacks any and all speakers or radio systems causing them to malfunction and make weird noises. How i hated this.) The phone was ok in some ways, but very annoying in others. Special thanks to Krista of the Pine Street house for letting me have this though, to tide me over 'til the switch.

My current phone. Sleek, new, exciting, sly. Mostly great features, a few annoyances. The best part, though, is no pirate radio hijacking and reception EVERYWHERE IN MY HOUSE. Great reception most places, actually. Verizon kicks Cingular's singular cellular butt.

HI AC!!!!
Who is this?
...Chelsea?
I think it's Chelsea. I'm not sure if she knows she's confusing people or not . . . it's not like she's the only person who can call herself "me!" (well, just like you and I aren't the only people who can call themselves Aaron, but at least you have the thingys on the side to differentiate you)
I have Verizon and the service has been really great for the most part. I can't seem to be able to send pictures with my phone for some reason though, which is sad.
HOWEVER, since when has pirate radio been a bad thing????
I'm so disillusioned right now :(
ARRR!!
(hadn't you ever experienced this around me when i had my old phones? it was quite annoying.)
Sorry about your not being able to send pictures :(
But yay for pirates! --> ;(
I know the annoyance that you speak of, however, I did not realize at the time that it was caused by your phone being a pirate! That is sweet!
I mean, human pirates do annoying things, too . . . all that pillaging and burning villiages and moderate raping, etc . . . but we still celebrate them posthumously. So let it be with your phone!
Arrrgh! ;(
pppffff ! My new FLAMBOYANT mobile is much better than this! ;-)
well phooey on you!
I'm really not trying to confuse anyone.
i just happened to be the first person to identify myself as "me" :p
So there!
ps. there sure seem to be a lot of Aarons running around these days. Now i'm the one who is a bit puzzled.
good job getting a verizon wireless phone. i actually really liked at&t when i had it, because i got good reception and it didn't cost me money to receive texts. then it got swallowed whole like jonah, and we all know cingular sucks. i now have verizon, and it's the best. just to annoy cingular customers, ed and i will call each other while we're in the same room and talk about how the conversation we're having is F R E E (yay in-calling...) we think it's fun, anyway, and they get mad.
yay for AC. and i must say that i'm honored to be one of your subscriptions.
'course! Seems i'll have to call you soon. FOR FREE!
I hate cingular!
Who doesn't?!
Now posting six years later, I have nostalgia for the following things:
*non-smart phones
*that pirate radio buzzing at random times while trying to sleep
*rambling blog comment conversations (now a thing of the past, thanx to www.thefacebarf.com)
*all my Chapman friendz.
*the good old dayz (?)
Well amen to #4 & 5 Aro. And! #3: the past will never die? #1: as stated, i am still the proud owner of a stupid phone. As for the pirate radio, i don't miss it, but am glad that you do. Konversationz!
the past is indeed, still alive.
I'm going to go see if Kyle still has a dormant blog I can comment on now.
I don't think that first sentence needed a comma. hmm.
